The Bisou Awards jury plays a key role throughout the selection process, working to ensure a fair and balanced outcome. The process takes place in three phases:
This three-step process ensures that the Bisou Awards recognise creators based on both community appreciation and professional expertise.
The winners of each category and of the Bisou for Brands will be announced on the 15th of October, the day of the Awardshow.
The selection of the Bisou Award winners starts with the public nomination phase. Anyone can nominate their favorite creator or themselves, provided the nominee meets our eligibility criteria: they must be at least 18 years old, Belgian or based in Belgium. We look for influencers who have been consistently active over the past year, posting at least once a month and demonstrating clear interaction with their community.Once the nominations are in, our expert jury and selection committee curate a shortlist of ten nominees per category. This selection is based on seven core pillars which are strategy, execution, creativity, impact, authenticity, synergy, and engagement. In the final stage, the winners are determined by audience votes and after that our jury will go through all the results. Some specific categories may be judged exclusively by either the jury or the public.
